Olde Tyme Chocolate Cookies Perfect With An Ice Cold Glass Of Milk

VANILLA Chocolate Crackle Cookies
2 1/2 teaspoon vanilla well
Cup butter 1/2 or shortening
1 2/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 large eggs
2/3 cup chopped pecans
2 squares of melted chocolate (dark chocolate)
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat in vanilla, butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Eggs, one after the other. Stir in melted chocolate. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Slowly add to creamed mixture with milk. Stir in pecans. Relax dough for 2-3 hours. Form into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Cookies will be soft and the texture will be like cake.

Chocolate nut balls
6th January ounces evaporated milk

6 ounces chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups vanilla wafers (crushed)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Cup Brandy 1/3 (optional)
In milk pan from the heat and heavy chocolate chips over medium heat. Stir until the chocolate has melted. Remove from heat, add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Allow to stand for 30 minutes. Then shape into balls and cover in nuts, powdered sugar or sprinkles. Cool
