Caribbean Shrimp WITH RICE
1 package (12 ounces) frozen shrimp, thawed
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
2 cups long grain rice, cooked

In a 4 1/2-quart slow cooker or slow, combine shrimp seasoning, broth, garlic, chili powder, salt and oregano. Lid on cooker and cook on low for 2 hours.

Add peas and tomatoes, replace, cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in cooked rice. Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes until the rice is heated through.

Vegetable-Stuffed Pork Chops and Pulled Pork Sandwiches You Can Make in Your Slow Cooker or Crockpot

For good old home cooking directly on your slow cooker or crockpot these pork chops stuffed with vegetables make for your family and / or friends. They are so good! With their corn, onion, peppers and rice filling, you will probably get rave reviews. A salad or steamed broccoli and you have a meal in a short time after the collision with the kitchen! If you prefer sandwiches, try the barbecue pulled pork. Served with a salad and / or corn on the cob, you have another quick meal idea.

VEGGIE STUFFED pork chops,
4 double pork chops, well trimmed
Salt and pepper
1 can (15 1/4-oz) corn, drained
1 small onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 cup Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 cup raw rice, long grain converted =
Tomato sauce 1 can (8 oz)

Crockpots and Slow Cookers Make Yummy Veggies, Too

Crockpots and slow cookers are so versatile, and if you follow my articles, you know, I think they are an important part of the kitchen. This article distinguished vegetable recipes that are delicious, if made in slow cooker. Butternut squash with corn and tomatoes is a tasty vegetarian dish Italian eggplant is fried. Because I love potatoes, potato casserole, cheese is a personal favorite.

Potato bake cheesecake
2 pounds chopped frozen hash browns, partially thawed
2 cans (10 ounces each) cheddar cheese soup
1 can (13 oz) evaporated milk
1 small can French fried onion rings
Salt and pepper to taste

Spray the slow cooker or casserole with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, combine potatoes, soup, milk, and half the onion rings. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Cover the pot and cook over low heat 8-9 hours or high setting for 4 hours. On top before serving the remaining half of onion rings.

Note: I also like frozen potatoes O’Brien chopped brown.
